HGV Class 1 & 2 Drivers – Full‑time & Temporary

About the role

Berry Recruitment is seeking qualified HGV Class 1 and Class 2 drivers to join a new client in Witney, Oxfordshire. The position is PAYE based and offers both full‑time and temporary contracts, working Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 or Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver goods to designated locations within agreed time‑frames.
• Comply with all road‑safety regulations and company policies.
• Record journeys and maintain vehicle logs accurately.
• Report any issues or incidents promptly to the dispatcher.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 1 and/or Class 2 licence.
• DCPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) and TACO (Training and Assessment of Competence) cards.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no current driving bans.
• Availability to work Monday‑Friday, with overtime possible.

Required skills

• DCPC certification.
• TACO certification.
• Proficiency in operating HGV Class 1 vehicles.
• Proficiency in operating HGV Class 2 vehicles.
