HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver – Severn Beach (Temporary)

About the role

Join Royal Mail’s dedicated team of drivers, transporting mail between national depots across the UK. This temporary position offers consistent, high‑quality work for the remainder of 2026, with flexible morning, evening and weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Trunk mail between Royal Mail depots on organised, planned routes.
• Perform comprehensive vehicle checks and maintain top‑tier safety standards.
• Follow scheduled routes precisely and represent Royal Mail professionally on every run.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence held for at least 2 years.
• Current CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Minimum 180 days of Class 1 driving experience within the last 2 years.
• Maximum 6 penalty points on licence and ability to pass vetting & DBS checks.
