HGV Class 1 Day Driver – 4 on 4 off

About the role

Kinaxia Logistics is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for day‑shift work based in Colchester. The role follows a 4‑days‑on, 4‑days‑off pattern, offering a stable routine and competitive hourly pay.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and ensure roadworthiness.
• Arrive on schedule, keep the traffic office informed of any delays.
• Follow company procedures, customer requirements and the Highway Code.
• Complete deliveries and collections as planned, maintaining health and safety standards.
• Comply with EU tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Keep the vehicle clean, tidy and well‑maintained.

Required profile

• Valid LGV C+E (Class 1) licence.
• Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC).
• Valid digital tachograph card.
• Good communication skills and a reliable, professional attitude.

Required skills

• Operating a heavy goods vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Understanding of tachograph and working‑time regulations.
