HGV Class 1 Driver – Day Shift

About the role

We are seeking experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV drivers to join a busy transport and logistics operation in Folkestone. The position offers day‑time shifts starting at 06:00, with the possibility of regular night‑out assignments. This is a full‑time, temporary role with weekly pay and long‑term progression potential.

Key responsibilities

• Night trunking, haulage and distribution work
• Regular night‑out assignments (night‑out allowance paid)
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks
• Complete all required transport paperwork
• Ensure compliance with Driver CPC and Drivers' Hours regulations
• Maintain high standards of safety and professionalism at all times

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence (held for at least 1 year)
• Minimum 6 months of Class 1 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Digital tachograph card
• Reliable, professional and safety‑focused approach
• Previous experience as a Class 1, HGV, LGV, Artic, transport or haulage driver is advantageous
