HGV Class 1 Driver – Full‑time Temporary

About the role

We are recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV (C+E) drivers for a busy transport and logistics operation based in Dover. The role offers a pay rate of £20.18 per hour, with shifts starting at 07:00 or 19:00, Monday to Sunday. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking ongoing day or night work, weekly pay, and long‑term prospects with a supportive transport team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform trunking, haulage and distribution tasks.
• Handle collections and deliveries.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks.
• Complete relevant transport paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with Driver CPC and Drivers' Hours regulations.
• Maintain high standards of safety and professionalism at all times.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence (held for at least 1 year).
• Minimum 6 months’ Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Reliable, professional and safety‑focused approach.
• Previous experience as a Class 1, HGV, LGV, Artic, transport or haulage driver is advantageous.
