HGV Class 1 Driver

About the role

Join Ocado Logistics as an HGV Class 1 Driver, delivering and collecting products between our state‑of‑the‑art warehouses and regional sites. Shifts run overnight, early mornings, late evenings and weekends, with the choice of a 32‑hour week over four days or a 40‑hour week over five days.

Key responsibilities

• Collect shopping orders from main warehouses and deliver them to smaller regional locations.
• Follow all company policies, health‑and‑safety procedures and traffic regulations.
• Operate routes that can extend up to 12.5 hours per day and be prepared for additional hours when required.
• Maintain a safe driving record and ensure the vehicle is kept in good condition.
• Adapt shift lengths daily to meet operational demands.

Required profile

• Passion for driving and working with large goods vehicles.
• Category C+E driving licence.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points and no disqualifications in the past 10 years.
• At least 12 months of driving experience on the licence (6 months LGV experience is desirable).
• Ability to work flexible shift patterns and handle additional hours.
