HGV Class 1 Driver – Night Shift (Sun‑Wed)

About the role

We are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for a night‑shift position based in Crewe. The role runs from Sunday to Wednesday, starting at 22:00, and offers a competitive rate of £17.20 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and deliver palletised parcels to couriers or pick‑up points, typically with 1‑2 stops per run.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and adhere to safe‑driving standards.
• Load and unload the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck where required.
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (Category C&E).
• Valid DCPC and digital tachograph card.
• No more than six penalty points on the licence.
• Good knowledge of Working Time Directive legislation.
• Willingness to complete a short driving assessment.

Required skills

• Proficient in operating a tail lift and pump truck.
• Ability to use digital tachograph equipment.
