HGV Class 1 Driver – Night Shifts in Darlington

About the role
We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver for night shifts based in Faverdale, Darlington. The position offers a long‑term, full‑time temporary contract with a competitive hourly rate.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver goods to regional distribution centres (RDCs) and retail stores.
- Unload pallets using tail‑lift equipment and cages.
- Perform routine vehicle checks before and after each shift.
- Adhere to shift patterns, with a preference for weekend and night hours (15:00‑21:00).
Required profile
- Hold a valid HGV C+E licence for at least 6 months.
- Minimum 3 months of commercial driving experience for insurance purposes.
- Clean driving record (no more than 6 penalty points, no DR10, CD10 or IN10 endorsements).
- Possess a digital tachograph card and CPC qualification.
