HGV Class 1 Driver – £22‑23/hr, Thamesmead (Temp)

About the role
A well‑known cash & carry is looking for enthusiastic HGV Class 1 drivers to deliver food products to retail stores and restaurants from its Thamesmead distribution centre. The position offers regular work, competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a pre‑loaded HGV to deliver food items to various retail and restaurant locations.
- Complete day or evening shifts, with a minimum guaranteed eight‑hour shift.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and adhere to safety regulations.
Required profile
- Full valid HGV2 UK licence.
- CPC and DIGI certifications.
- No more than six penalty points and no major endorsements on the licence.
Required skills
- HGV Class 1 (HGV2) driving licence.
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
- DIGI (Digital tachograph) certification.
