HGV Class 1 Driver – Supermarket Distribution

About the role
We are looking for reliable HGV Class 1 drivers to join our team delivering supermarket goods from our distribution depots in Avonmouth and Chepstow. Both full‑time and part‑time shifts are available, with the flexibility to work from either depot as required.
Key responsibilities
- Complete 1‑4 deliveries per route to supermarket stores, handling both caged and palletised loads.
- Accurately complete all required delivery paperwork.
- Occasionally perform deliveries to smaller stores using an HGV Class 2 vehicle.
Required profile
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Digital tachograph and DQC card.
- Minimum 6 months driving experience.
- No more than 6 penalty points and no disqualifications (DR, DD, CD, IN10).
- Ability to pass a theory and practical driving assessment.

What we offer
- Competitive hourly rates (£17.96 – £22.45) depending on shift timing.
- Overtime paid at £6.92 per hour after 45 hours.
- Bank holiday work paid at double time.
- All breaks are paid.
