HGV Class 1 Driver – Trunking – £22‑£25 per hour

About the role

Join a leading logistics provider as an HGV Class 1 Driver, delivering depot‑to‑depot trunking loads across the South East. You will work either day or night shifts with guaranteed minimum hours and competitive hourly rates.

Key responsibilities

• Complete depot‑to‑depot trunking deliveries to designated locations.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks before each shift.
• Accurately complete all transport paperwork.
• Ensure deliveries are made safely, on time, and to a high standard of customer service.
• Maintain professionalism and uphold company reputation.
• Comply with Driver Hours, Tachograph, and Road Transport regulations.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only).
• Professional, reliable, and safety‑focused attitude.
• Good communication, time‑management, and flexibility to work the shift pattern.

Required skills

• Digital Tachograph operation.
• Vehicle safety inspection.
