HGV Class 1 Weekend Driver

About the role

Kinaxia Logistics is seeking reliable HGV Class 1 drivers to work weekends from its Eastleigh depot. You will join a supportive team and be responsible for delivering and collecting goods across the region while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Arrive on schedule for each shift and report any delays to the traffic office.
• Follow company procedures, customer requirements and the Highway Code.
• Maintain high health and safety standards at all times.
• Complete deliveries and collections as outlined on the manifest.
• Comply with EU Tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Keep the vehicle clean, tidy and presentable.

Required profile

• Full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence.
• Valid Driver Qualification Card (CPC).
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience operating double‑deck trailers.
• Experience with container handling (dock‑compliant drivers advantageous).
• Flexible and reliable approach to weekend work.
