HGV Class 2 Day Driver – £18/hr

About the role
Join an award‑winning warehousing and distribution team in Dunstable as a HGV Class 2 day driver. You will deliver and collect pallets to commercial and residential sites, enjoying steady work and a competitive hourly rate.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver pallets to local commercial and residential properties.
- Collect pallets for return to the warehouse.
- Off‑load deliveries using a tail lift on electric pump trucks.
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and follow health‑and‑safety procedures.
Required profile
- Minimum 6 months UK HGV Class 2 driving experience.
- Valid UK driving licence, CPC and tachograph card.
- Up to 6 penalty points on licence.
- Ability to work shifts starting between 6 am and 8 am for at least 8 hours.
Required skills
- HGV Class 2 driving.
- Tail‑lift operation.
- Use of electric pump trucks.
What we offer
- Competitive pay of £18 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
- Minimal pallet drops per shift (4‑5).
- Shift start times between 6 am‑8 am for a minimum eight‑hour day.
