About the role
Driver Hire Southampton is seeking experienced HGV Class 2 drivers for flexible weekday shifts delivering and collecting commercial vehicles across the South Coast. The role offers a stable Monday‑to‑Friday schedule with an average ten‑hour day, starting from 07:30.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver and collect vans, 7.5‑tonne and Class 2 vehicles to and from customer sites.
- Perform vehicle shunting duties within the yard when required.
- Provide a professional, customer‑focused service throughout each interaction.
- Complete paperwork using POD (Proof‑of‑Delivery) systems.
Required profile
- Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence held for at least one year.
- Valid CPC and Digi‑Tacho card.
- Own transport for commuting to the Southampton depot.
- Experience using POD systems.
