HGV Class 2 Driver – Full‑time Day Shift, Severn Beach

About the role
We are seeking HGV Class 2 drivers for an ongoing, full‑time day‑shift position based at our depot in Severn Beach, BS35. The role offers a fixed rota with a guaranteed 5‑day break each month, providing excellent work‑life balance.
Key responsibilities
- Perform daily vehicle safety checks.
- Complete multi‑drop deliveries, typically 4‑7 stops per shift.
- Record each delivery using a Zebra handheld device.
- Handle heavy items using dollies and cages as required.
Required profile
- Valid UK Class 2 driving licence with Full CPC and Digi card.
- No more than three penalty points on the licence.
- At least six months’ experience in a similar HGV delivery role.
- Comfortable with regular heavy lifting.
- Strong communication skills.
Required skills
What we offer
- £42,756 per annum (48 hours/week) with hourly rates from £17.13 to £25.70.
- Four 12‑hour shifts per week, with overtime paid at £25.70 per hour.
- Bank holidays paid at the overtime rate.
- Weekly pay, annual bonus and pay rise.
- Holiday accrual, unlimited hot/cold drinks, and free on‑site parking.
