HGV Class 2 Driver – Full‑time, Hatfield

About the role

We are looking for a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client’s team in Hatfield. This full‑time, daytime delivery role offers stable employment with a reputable company that values its staff. You will be responsible for delivering goods safely and on schedule across a variety of locations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver goods to stores, residential addresses and construction sites punctually.
• Assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle as required.
• Carry out routine vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
• Provide courteous customer service during client interactions.
• Follow health and safety regulations, including proper use of PPE.
• Maintain flexibility to complete assigned routes efficiently and safely.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months recent experience driving an HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicle.
• Valid UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points and no disqualifying endorsements.
• Full CPC qualification and a DIGI tachograph card.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely.
• Professional and approachable demeanour with strong customer service skills.
