HGV Class 2 Driver – Full‑time, £50,000‑£60,000

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy technical operations team at our Rainham depot. The role involves delivering environmental and industrial services to a range of commercial and public‑sector clients across the South East. You will work both independently and as part of a team, handling planned and reactive tasks while representing the company professionally on site.

Key responsibilities

• Operate company HGVs and other specialist vehicles safely, complying with tachograph regulations.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any defects promptly.
• Carry out high‑pressure water jetting, industrial cleaning and emergency spill response.
• Install, service, inspect and decommission interceptors and storage tanks.
• Support groundworks, remediation and civil‑project activities, including surface preparation and spray lining.
• Load and unload materials safely and complete accurate on‑site job reports.
• Communicate with customers, identify additional service opportunities and participate in an on‑call rota.

Required profile

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 licence (up to 6 points acceptable).
• Willingness to undergo DBS and drug/alcohol screening.
• Previous experience in environmental, industrial or multi‑skilled operative roles.
• Ability to produce RAMS documentation.
• Right to work in the UK.
