About the role
Our client, a well‑established builder's merchant in East London, is looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 driver with Hiab and Grab experience. The role offers an immediate start and a temporary‑to‑permanent pathway after 12 weeks.
Key responsibilities
- Operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle equipped with Hiab and Grab attachments.
- Load, transport and unload building materials safely.
- Deliver goods to sites across East London and surrounding areas.
- Work Monday‑Friday shifts and be available for Saturdays, weekends and bank holidays.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any issues promptly.
Required profile
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence.
- Proven experience operating Hiab and Grab equipment.
- Willingness to work Saturdays and occasional weekend shifts.
- Recent DBS check.

What we offer
- Competitive hourly rate of £22‑£23 (inclusive of holiday pay).
- Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift.
- Weekly pay.
- Temporary contract with the possibility of permanent employment after 12 weeks.
