HGV Class 2 Driver & Installation Specialist

About the role

Bishopsgate is expanding its North West London team and seeks reliable, hands‑on HGV Class 2 Driver/Installers for its busy London depot. The role blends professional driving with specialist installation work, delivering high‑value equipment for sectors such as medical, banking, printing and sports.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and install specialist equipment including ATMs, parcel lockers, medical devices, data racks and gym machinery.
• Work in 2‑person teams or larger crews (up to 8) for heavy or complex installations, handling items up to 28 tonnes.
• Use mechanical and non‑mechanical lifting tools safely to manoeuvre equipment.
• Provide white‑glove installations to a high standard at customer sites.
• Operate in indoor and outdoor environments in all weather conditions, wearing provided PPE.
• Represent the company professionally and deliver excellent customer service.

Required profile

• Flexibility with early start times (typically from 6 am) and willingness to work overtime.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a crew.
• Valid HGV Class 2 licence.

• Mechanical handling of heavy equipment.
• Specialist installation techniques for high‑value assets.

What we offer

• Salary £44,000‑£47,000 per year plus average overtime of £4,500.
• Bonus opportunity OTE £55,000.
• Full structured training on safe lifting, mechanical handling and installation methods.
• Permanent, full‑time contract with 10‑hour shifts (6 am start, 3‑5 pm finish).
