HGV Class 2 Driver

About the role

Veolia is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join its growing fleet in Padworth. You will be responsible for delivering essential collection services to local communities while upholding safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and load waste into the truck.
• Perform daily vehicle checks in line with the driver operator handbook.
• Use onboard technology to record work notes and complete routes.
• Comply with all traffic laws, load security, and weight regulations.
• Ensure the carriageway is left clean and any spillages are promptly addressed.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 HGV licence.
• Current CPC/DIGI card.
• Ability to work 6 am‑2:30 pm, Monday‑Friday with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch.

Required skills

• Proficiency with onboard vehicle technology for route and note management.
