HGV Class 2 Driver – Local Council (Wareham)

About the role
We are seeking HGV Class 2 drivers to work for a local council in Wareham. The role starts immediately after a brief induction and offers a temporary contract with the possibility of becoming long‑term based on performance and flexibility.
Key responsibilities
- Operate HGV vehicles on scheduled routes between 6:30 am and 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
- Deliver goods and services to council locations while maintaining a professional attitude.
- Communicate effectively with customers and council staff.
- Work collaboratively within a team and follow all health and safety procedures.
Required profile
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph qualification.
- HGV Class 2 licence with no more than six penalty points (no DD/IN/DR endorsements).
- Positive, willing attitude and ability to work as part of a team.

What we offer
- Hourly rate of £14.59, with potential increase after a successful three‑month probation.
