HGV Class 2 Driver – Local Deliveries in Paddock Wood

About the role

We are seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 driver to join our team in Paddock Wood, delivering and collecting goods for both residential and business customers across the South East. The position offers a stable, full‑time schedule with a focus on local routes, providing a good work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out local deliveries and pick‑ups for B2C and B2B clients.
• Operate a Category C lorry safely and efficiently, following planned routes.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and digital tachograph records.
• Provide courteous, professional service to customers on each visit.
• Report any vehicle issues and support basic vehicle maintenance.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Current Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong customer‑service attitude and punctuality.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating a Class 2 HGV.
• Use of digital tachograph equipment.
• Understanding of basic vehicle safety checks.
