HGV Class 2 Driver – Night Shifts in Plymouth

About the role

Join a leading logistics provider in Plymouth as an HGV Class 2 (Category C) driver. You will work night shifts delivering palletised parcels between sub‑depots and delivery units, ensuring safe and timely transport.

Key responsibilities

• Securely move and transport palletised parcels to and from sub‑depots.
• Complete 1‑2 delivery stops per run, maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Operate tail‑lift and pump‑truck equipment for loading and unloading.
• Interact professionally with customers and represent the company.
• Empty the vehicle and refuel at the end of each shift.
• Pass a theory and practical safety assessment followed by paid training.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement.
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than six penalty points on the licence.
• Good understanding of WTD legislation.
• Willingness to undertake a short driving assessment.
• Strong communication skills and a safety‑first mindset.

Required skills

• Tail‑lift operation.
• Pump‑truck handling.
