HGV Class 2 Driver – £17-£20 per hour, Glasgow

About the role

We are seeking experienced HGV Class 2 drivers to join a well‑known local business at its Glasgow hub. The role involves delivering goods within a 50‑mile radius, operating a modern fleet and working regular weekday hours.

Key responsibilities

• Complete 3‑6 deliveries per shift within a 50‑mile radius of the Glasgow hub.
• Perform vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Ensure deliveries are safe, efficient and on time.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records.
• Comply with road transport legislation and company procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Minimum 12 months HGV driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Reliable, professional and safety‑conscious attitude.
• Counterbalance FLT experience preferred but not essential.
