HGV Class 2 Driver – £18.57 per hour – Croydon

About the role

We are looking for a reliable HGV Class 2 driver to operate commercial waste and recycling collection routes across Greater London. The role is based in Croydon and involves early‑morning starts, independent driving and delivering a professional service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Complete 25–30 commercial collection stops per day across Greater London.
• Operate Class 2 vehicles and specialist collection equipment safely.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
• Maintain accurate collection records and compliance documentation.
• Adhere to Driver CPC, tachograph and working‑time regulations.
• Provide courteous service when attending customer sites.

Required profile

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid digital tachograph card.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Comfortable with early starts, solo driving and physically active duties.
