About the role
Driver Hire Southampton is seeking experienced HGV Class 2 drivers to join their team on behalf of a commercial vehicle rental client. You will be responsible for delivering and collecting vans and 7.5‑tonne vehicles for commercial customers across the South Coast, working Monday‑Friday with an average 10‑hour day.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver and collect Class 2 and 7.5 t vans to and from commercial customers.
- Shunt vehicles in the yard when required.
- Maintain professional service standards during all customer interactions.
- Ad‑hoc work schedule, typically starting at 07:30 am.
Required profile
- Full UK Class 2 driving licence held for at least one year.
- Valid CPC and Digi‑Tacho card.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Own transport for commuting.
- Familiarity with POD (Proof‑of‑Delivery) systems.

- Pod system usage
