HGV Class 2 Driver – Summer Peak (48 hrs/week)

About the role

WPRG Ltd is seeking experienced HGV Class 2 drivers for a guaranteed summer peak contract delivering to convenience stores across South East England. The role involves daily store deliveries using tail‑lifts and roll cages, with a fixed rota and no holidays until 29 August 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Perform store deliveries using a tail‑lift and roll cages.
• Handle manual loading and unloading on every shift.
• Follow a fixed two‑week rota (Week 1: Mon‑Fri, Week 2: Tue‑Sat) with start times between 04:00‑10:00.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with health‑and‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Minimum age 21 years.
• At least 6 months of relevant driving experience.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (speeding/traffic only).
• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence and CPC card.
• Digital tachograph holder.
• Good level of English and professional attitude.
• Availability for the entire summer period with no holidays.

What we offer

• Guaranteed minimum 48 hours per week.
• Pay rates: £21 / hour (day), £28 / hour after 48 hours, £29 / hour on bank holidays (minimum 9 hours).
• 5‑day paid training (Monday‑Friday).
• Fixed rota and secure summer employment until 29 August 2026.
