HGV Class 2 Driver – Thamesmead Distribution Centre

About the role

Join a well‑known cash & carry business as an HGV Class 2 Driver, delivering food products from the Thamesmead distribution centre to retail stores and restaurants across South East England. This position offers regular day or evening shifts with a guaranteed minimum of eight hours per shift.

Key responsibilities

• Collect pre‑loaded goods from the Thamesmead hub and deliver them safely to designated locations.
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to retail and restaurant customers.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any issues promptly.
• Adhere to all road safety and company policies while on the road.

Required profile

• Full, valid HGV Class 2 UK licence.
• Completed CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) training.
• Valid DIGI (Driver Identification) certification.
• No more than six penalty points on your licence and no major endorsements.

Required skills

• HGV Class 2 driving proficiency.
• CPC certification.
• DIGI certification.
