HGV Class 2 Driver – Up to £28.95/hr, Fixed Shifts

About the role

WPRG Ltd is recruiting HGV Class 2 (Category C) drivers for a reputable client in Dagenham. The role involves delivering fresh bakery products to supermarkets and convenience stores across the South East on fixed early‑morning shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles for multi‑drop deliveries.
• Complete deliveries safely, on time and according to customer specifications.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and complete delivery paperwork.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods when required.
• Provide courteous customer service at each delivery point.
• Adhere to driver hours, tachograph and road transport regulations.

Required profile

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Physically fit to help with loading/unloading.
• Weekend availability and ability to start between 00:00‑02:10.

Required skills

• Safe vehicle operation and multi‑drop delivery experience (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of tachograph and road transport regulations.
