HGV Class 2 Driver – Warrington

About the role

This position is for an HGV Class 2 Driver based in Warrington, delivering products to stores across the UK on rotating shift patterns. You will operate Category C vehicles, maintain temperature‑controlled loads, and provide professional customer service at each delivery point.

Key responsibilities

• Work rotating AM and PM shift patterns, including occasional weekends.
• Drive Category C vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Complete 6–7 store deliveries per day, ensuring loads stay at required temperatures.
• Unload cages using a tail lift and place them in stores.
• Take photographs to document successful deliveries.
• Provide excellent customer service and report any concerns promptly.
• Perform vehicle checks and report defects as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum six months experience as a Class 2 driver.
• Valid UK Category C driving licence.
• Valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than six penalty points and no major endorsements (DR10, DG10, IN10, TT99).
• Strong communication skills and good spoken and written English.
• Reliable timekeeping and dependability.
