HGV Class 2 Driver – Waste Collection

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 driver to join a busy waste and recycling depot in Walthamstow, East London. The role involves collecting and disposing of waste and recycling across the Waltham Forest area with an immediate start.

Key responsibilities

• Collect general waste and recycling from public areas.
• Dispose of collected waste at designated sites.
• Collect fly‑tips and waste bags.
• Sweep and clean streets as part of the daily routine.

Required profile

• Positive and helpful attitude.
• Valid HGV Class 2 licence.
• CPC card and DIGI card.
• Minimum six months of Class 2 driving experience.
• Willingness to assist with street sweeping and cleaning.

Required skills

• HGV Class 2 driving.
• CPC certification.
• DIGI card.

What we offer

• Competitive hourly rate of £19.00 – £20.00.
