About the role
Join a busy waste collection team in Yeovil as a HGV Class 2 Dust Cart Driver. You will operate a dust‑cart lorry, collecting residential and commercial waste while supporting the loading crew.
Key responsibilities
- Drive a dust‑cart lorry on assigned routes to collect waste.
- Load and unload waste in collaboration with manual loaders.
- Follow health, safety and environmental procedures at all times.
- Complete a driving assessment and induction before starting work.
Required profile
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
- No DR endorsements and a valid CPC and Tacho card.
- Minimum 6 months experience in waste collection or a similar role.
- Willingness to perform manual loading tasks.
- Safety shoes and high‑visibility clothing are mandatory.

What we offer
- £18 per hour (overtime available)
- Full‑time, ongoing contract
- Monday‑Friday shift (06:15‑14:45)
