HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver – Refuse Collection

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) driver to join a well‑established client in Potters Bar. The position offers stable, Monday‑to‑Friday work with an immediate start and competitive hourly pay.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 refuse (dustcart) vehicle.
• Complete scheduled waste and recycling collection routes.
• Assist the loading crew as required.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks.
• Adhere to all road transport regulations and health & safety procedures.
• Provide a reliable and professional service at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving experience.
• Valid UK Category C driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR or IN endorsements).
• Positive attitude, dependable, and willing to assist with loading duties.

What we offer

• £18.00 – £25.00 per hour, Monday to Friday, 40‑hour shifts.
