HGV Class 2 Flatbed Driver – £38k‑£40k Permanent

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 driver to join a well‑established flatbed transport company based in Great Barford, Bedford. The position offers a permanent contract with a competitive salary and the chance to develop your driving career in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 2 flatbed vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver goods to customers across the region, adhering to schedules.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Provide professional customer service during each delivery.
• Work early‑morning shifts (05:00‑06:00) Monday to Friday.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Positive attitude and reliable work ethic.
• Previous flatbed experience is advantageous but not essential.

Required skills

• Valid CPC certification.
• Digital Tachograph operation.
• IPAF licence (preferred; training provided if required).
