HGV Class 2 Grab Driver

About the role

FM Conway is seeking a full‑time HGV Class 2 Grab Driver for its Heathrow depot. You will operate a grab vehicle to transport asphalt and aggregate to construction sites across the South East, working Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 16:00.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and operate a Class 2 HGV equipped with a grab to and from customer sites.
• Transport asphalt and aggregate safely and professionally.
• Follow supervisor instructions and company procedures.
• Maintain the vehicle and equipment to company standards.
• Complete and submit daily defect sheets.
• Adhere to all health, safety and operational policies.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence.
• Valid HGV Class 2 licence.
• Full CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Digital Tachograph card.
• Proven experience as a grab driver and in asphalt transport.

Required skills

• Class 2 HGV operation.
• Grab vehicle handling.
• Digital tachograph usage.
