HGV Class 2 Refuse/Dustcart Driver – Immediate Start

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) driver to join a well‑established waste collection client in Hemel Hempstead. The role offers stable, Monday‑to‑Friday work with an immediate start and long‑term prospects.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 refuse (dustcart) vehicle on scheduled routes.
• Complete waste and recycling collections according to the timetable.
• Assist the loading crew with refuse handling when required.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks.
• Adhere to all road transport regulations and health & safety procedures.
• Provide a reliable and professional service to customers.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving experience.
• Valid UK Category C Driving Licence.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DR or IN endorsements.
• Positive attitude, reliability and willingness to assist with loading duties.

What we offer

• £17.00–£22.00 per hour (Umbrella) for a 40‑hour week.
