HGV Class 2 RORO Driver – Immediate Start

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Roll‑On Roll‑Off (RORO) driver to join a busy waste‑management and recycling operation based in Paddock Wood, Kent. The role involves collecting and delivering RORO containers and skips across Kent and surrounding areas on an early‑start, day‑shift schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Operate RORO vehicles safely and efficiently, completing 3‑4 runs per shift.
• Deliver, exchange and collect RORO containers and skips.
• Transport waste, recycling, construction and commercial waste while ensuring loads are secure.
• Perform daily vehicle checks, report defects and complete collection notes and delivery paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service at collection and delivery points.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Previous experience as a RORO, skip, hook‑lift or waste‑management driver is preferred.
• Good understanding of transport compliance and road‑safety regulations.
• Reliable, professional and hard‑working attitude.

What we offer

• £19.06 per hour (umbrella rate) with weekly pay.
