HGV Class 2 Sweeper Driver

About the role

We are looking for a reliable HGV Class 2 Sweeper Driver to join a well‑established local organisation near Chatham. The role involves operating a left‑hand‑drive street‑sweeping vehicle on essential services routes, with full training provided.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and operate the HGV sweeper safely during scheduled hours (Monday‑Friday, 6:00 am‑2:30 pm).
• Maintain clean and safe public roads by following the designated sweeping routes.
• Record working hours using a digital tachograph and comply with CPC regulations.
• Perform occasional overtime and weekend work, compensated at enhanced rates.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year holding a valid HGV Class 2 licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points on the licence.
• Full CPC qualification.
• Digital tachograph certification.
• Good communication skills and confidence on the road.

What we offer

• Hourly rate between £15.64 and £16.74.
