HGV Driver Class 2 – Full‑time

About the role

Join Travis Perkins as an HGV Driver Class 2 delivering building materials to local customers from the Dunmow branch. You will operate a HIAB‑equipped vehicle, make around 14 drops a day and enjoy regular, sociable hours with no evenings or overnight stays.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload the HIAB‑equipped HGV safely and legally.
• Deliver building materials to customers, making approximately 14 stops per day.
• Maintain professional customer interactions and represent the company on the road.
• Return to the branch to reload as required.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 driving licence.
• Up‑to‑date CPC records and a Category B licence held for at least 12 months.
• Customer‑focused attitude with strong relationship‑building skills.
• Commitment to safety and professional conduct.

Required skills

• Class 2 HGV operation.
• HIAB handling (training provided if not experienced).
• CPC certification.
