HGV Driver Class 2

About the role

We are seeking experienced HGV Class 2 drivers to join a busy delivery operation in the South East. The role is initially temporary with the aim of progressing to a permanent position, offering consistent work Monday‑to‑Friday at a competitive hourly rate.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle for residential and commercial deliveries.
• Work as part of a two‑person crew, loading, unloading and delivering large household goods.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and complete all required paperwork.
• Maintain high standards of customer service throughout each delivery.
• Comply with UK road transport legislation and company procedures.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification card.
• Valid digital tachograph card.
• Good understanding of UK driving regulations.
• Ability to perform regular heavy manual handling.
• Previous experience in multidrop, home or furniture delivery is advantageous.

• Hourly rate of £18.25.
• Full‑time schedule, Monday to Friday.
