HGV Driver

About the role

Join Ocado Logistics as an HGV Driver, delivering and collecting grocery orders between our state‑of‑the‑art warehouse and regional sites. The role is based at the Erith site (Church Manorway, London) and offers a flexible shift pattern that includes nights, early mornings and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Collect shopping from the main warehouse and deliver to smaller regional locations.
• Operate large goods vehicles safely in line with company policies and procedures.
• Work a minimum of 32 contracted hours per week, with routes that can extend up to 12.5 hours per day.
• Adhere to shift schedules, including evenings, nights and weekends.
• Maintain vehicle safety standards and complete required CPC training.

Required profile

• Passion for driving and a strong safety mindset.
• Category C+E driving licence.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points and no disqualifications in the past 10 years.
• At least 12 months of driving experience on the licence (6 months LGV experience is desirable).
• Ability to be flexible with daily shift length.

Required skills

• Digital tachograph operation.
