HGV Driver – Multi‑drop Pallet Deliveries (South West)

About the role

Join Gregory Distribution Group as an HGV Driver operating curtain‑side trailers across the South West. You will make multi‑drop palletised deliveries and collections to businesses and private addresses, ensuring a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Operate curtain‑side trailers to deliver and collect palletised loads, including tail‑lift and hand‑ball handling.
• Secure goods using straps, nets or other devices to prevent movement or damage.
• Carry out comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks via company phone.
• Maintain regular communication with the transport team to provide progress updates.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry standards.

Required profile

• Hold a UK Class 1 CE licence or Class 2 C licence.
• Current DCPC card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience delivering loads directly to client sites (advantageous).
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good geographical knowledge of the South West.
• Fit, flexible, hardworking and self‑motivated.
