HGV Driver – Night Shift

About the role

As an HGV Driver for Asda you will be the backbone of our distribution network, delivering goods to stores across the South East. You will work night shifts, ensuring that shelves are stocked and customers receive their orders on time.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out pre‑trip vehicle inspections and adhere to road safety standards.
• Load, transport and unload goods safely, keeping deliveries accurate and on schedule.
• Maintain clear communication with store teams and dispatch.
• Keep the vehicle clean and report any issues promptly.
• Adapt to varied routes and occasional weekend work.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence with no more than six penalty points.
• Physical ability to assist with loading, unloading and vehicle cleaning.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and rotating shifts.
• Positive attitude and commitment to safe, efficient service.

Required skills

• HGV Class 1 driving licence.
