About the role
Join Wild Recruitment as an HGV Dustcart Driver in Portsmouth, supporting household and commercial waste collections on a full‑time, temporary basis. You will work Monday to Friday, 06:00‑15:00, earning £16.75 per hour on a PAYE contract.
Key responsibilities
- Drive HGV Class 2 dustcarts across local routes.
- Operate as part of a 2‑ or 3‑person crew.
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
- Assist loaders with heavy lifting when required.
Required profile
- Valid Category C licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph.
- Minimum six months of HGV driving experience.
- Ability to lift and support loading tasks.
- Team‑player with good initiative.
- Pass a driving assessment before starting.
- Rear‑steer experience is helpful but not essential.
