About the role

Join Scania's busy Leeds workshop as an HGV Shift Supervisor. You will lead a team of skilled technicians on a rotating shift pattern, ensuring safe, efficient operations and high‑quality service for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and organise the workshop team, managing productivity and efficiency.
• Provide first‑line support to technicians and other workshop staff.
• Deliver technical guidance to the team and, when required, to customers.
• Ensure all work is authorised and meets high standards to avoid warranty rejections.
• Promote accurate job‑card documentation.
• Mentor apprentices, helping develop the next generation of technicians.

Required profile

• Organised people leader with proven workshop experience.
• Strong commitment to health and safety standards.
• Ability to communicate proactively and deliver excellent customer service.
• Passion for efficient workshop operations and continuous improvement.
