About the role

Join Scania's Southampton workshop as an HGV Shift Supervisor, leading a team of skilled technicians in a fast‑paced environment. You will ensure safe, efficient operations while delivering high‑quality service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and organise the workshop team, managing productivity and efficiencies.
• Provide day‑to‑day support for technicians and workshop staff.
• Deliver technical guidance to the team and, when required, to customers.
• Ensure all work is authorised and meets high standards to avoid warranty rejections.
• Promote accurate job‑card documentation.
• Mentor apprentices and develop future talent.

Required profile

• Proven workshop experience with a focus on HGV maintenance.
• Strong people‑leadership skills and the ability to foster a collaborative team environment.
• Commitment to health and safety best practices.
• Excellent communication skills for internal coordination and customer interaction.

• Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) operation and maintenance knowledge.
