HGV Technician – Avonmouth (Rotating Shift)

About the role

Scania is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join its Avonmouth workshop on a rotating shift pattern. You will work on a variety of heavy commercial vehicles, ensuring they are serviced, maintained and repaired to the highest standards of safety and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, diagnostics and repairs on HGVs, LCVs and related vehicle types.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and adhere to health and safety procedures.
• Document work performed and communicate any issues to senior technicians or supervisors.
• Participate in on‑the‑job training and continuous development programmes.

Required profile

• Experience working on HGVs, LCVs, cars, agricultural, plant, or military vehicles.
• Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule (Week 1: Mon‑Fri 06:00‑14:30; Week 2: Mon‑Thu 14:00‑22:30, Fri 13:30‑22:00).
• Commitment to health and safety standards and continuous learning.
