About the role
We are seeking a qualified HGV Technician to join our client’s depot in Portsmouth on a permanent full‑time basis. The role involves inspecting, servicing and repairing commercial vans to ensure they are road‑ready and compliant.
Key responsibilities
- Vehicle inspections
- General servicing and maintenance
- Fault diagnosis and repair of defects
- Road testing vehicles
- MOT preparation and presentation
- Accurate completion of all required paperwork
Required profile
- Qualified HGV Technician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three or equivalent)
- Proven experience working with commercial vans of all makes and models
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
