HGV Technician – Full‑time Permanent Role in Swindon

About the role
We are seeking a qualified HGV Technician to join our client’s Swindon depot on a permanent, full‑time basis. The role involves maintaining a fleet of commercial vans, ensuring they are safe, road‑worthy and ready for service.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out comprehensive vehicle inspections and routine servicing.
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs on a variety of commercial van makes and models.
- Conduct road tests to verify repairs and vehicle performance.
- Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and complete all associated paperwork.
Required profile
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification as an HGV Technician.
- Proven experience working with commercial vans of all makes and models.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
