HGV Technician – Glasgow (Rotating Shifts)

About the role

Scania is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join its Glasgow workshop on a rotating shift pattern. You will work on a range of heavy commercial vehicles, ensuring they are serviced, maintained and repaired to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, diagnostics and repairs on HGVs and related vehicle types.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and component replacements.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate service records.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures within the workshop.
• Collaborate with the team to meet production targets and service schedules.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a technician in HGV, LCV, car, agricultural, plant or military vehicle environments.
• Ability to work various shifts as part of a rotating schedule.
• Commitment to continuous learning and skill development.
